Project description: Antunovich Associates designed the Arts & Letters Hall intending to pursue LEED Gold Certification. The new facility on DePaul University’s Lincoln Park Campus in Chicago houses the English Department and the History of Art & Architecture Department, classrooms, support spaces, and lounge areas.

The building, which was designed to blend with the unique residential character of Lincoln Park, features a generous courtyard and is comparable in height to other adjacent campus and neighborhood structures. Extensive use of brick is used on the exterior facades of the building to ensure that the building is compatible with its neighbors and fits the rich historic vernacular of Lincoln Park.
