Project description: This Ronald McDonald House is situated in the heart of Streeterville, just a few blocks south of Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago. This convenient location provides safe and supportive housing for visiting families and is close to public transportation and the celebrated amenities of Michigan Avenue. Families staying at this RMHC can enjoy the best Chicago has to offer with famous downtown attractions and events.

This is a welcoming and comfortable space for families to be close and to unwind and recharge while their children are receiving treatment. The first level of the building houses retail and a secure entrance to the RMHC facilities. Commons areas, general services, and amenities, as well as access to RMHC staff members and support, are available to RMHC guests on the next three building levels. The top nine floors house 10 individual guest rooms per floor. These rooms are designed to provide patrons with privacy, natural light, and storage space. For convenience, each guest floor is accommodated with a pantry, dining area, and laundry room. Lounges on each level also afford guests space to relax and socialize, gaining distraction and support from the understanding of others.
