Eldridge Townhomes

The Elm Creek development is located in Elmhurst Illinois, and offers a range of suburban offerings being nestled between Elmhurst Hospital, Oak Brook Mall, and downtown Elmhurst. The original development was built in the 1980’s and has been expanded and updated during its lifespan.

As part of an overall development plan, Antunovich Associates worked with AIMCO on creating a phased design scheme to build new townhomes and update the existing apartment building including façade refresh, new package room, update new and existing amenity spaces, revitalize the indoor pool, and create connections to more activated courtyards. A scheme to redesign unit interiors was also developed which took existing galley kitchens and opened them up to the living space, while working within the constraints of a post tension structural system.

The Eldridge Townhomes which were completed in 2020, sit within the larger Elm Creek development and include 58 townhomes ranging from two to four bedrooms. Select units have been designed so that elevators can be easily added without major structural modifications based on future renter requirements.
