Project description: Antunovich Associates collaborated with The Beach Company on a mixed-use structure in Charleston, South Carolina. The Jasper's 12-stories offer stunning panoramic views of downtown Charleston and the Ashley River and house 220 residential units and 80,000 SF of office space above neighborhood size retail space.

The Jasper's massing and detailing capture the spirit of cherished neoclassical structures found throughout downtown. A traditional base, middle, and top are articulated in the city's vernacular with brick, stone, and vertically proportioned openings.

The main residential and lobby entrances front Broad Street along with retail storefronts, which wrap the corner and line Barre Street. Formal gardens and drive courts make up half of the property, setting the buildings back from the road and enriching the streetscape. Additionally, abundant green roofs provide open amenity space for building tenants and residents.
