Project description: Antunovich Associates are collaborating with CAS Riegler on an exciting new mixed-use project at 1401 Pennsylvania Avenue SE, in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Washington, D.C. The proposed design will be a state-of-the-art, modern retail/residential building containing roughly 19,000 square feet of retail space on the ground level, located at the corner of Pennsylvania Avenue and 14th Streets SE. 160 residential units will be located throughout the building, each with ample natural sunlight and condominium-grade finishes. A range of residential options will be available, from affordable studio apartments to larger, efficient 3-bedroom units, including special penthouse level units with immediate access to four separate interior and exterior rooftop amenity spaces. In addition, a 58-space parking level will be situated below the retail level, accessible via a public alley which extends past the entirety of the site.
