Upon its completion, The Orchard condominium development will deliver 31 new luxury condominiums to Chicago’s Lincoln Park neighborhood. Situated at the northeast corner of the Lincoln Common project site, the condominiums will offer a prime location to residents just steps away from the vibrant new Lincoln Common retail corridor and public spaces, and less than a mile from the lakefront.
Developed with luxury in mind, the units will range from approximately 2,500SF to 3,400SF and will host between three and four bedrooms per unit. Generously sized master suites will include large walk-in closets and master baths, while secondary bedrooms will each include en-suite bathrooms. The interior design, being completed by Soucie Horner, will ensure that no closet or utility space is an afterthought, and that strong aesthetics and details will still allow for functionality and flexibility. Unit layouts, MEP systems, and structural designs are being developed to ensure maximum flexibility to accommodate the varying lifestyles and wishes of prospective buyers. Large outdoor balconies and terraces will be provided to each unit, with penthouses also having access to private rooftop terraces.
While the emphasis of the building will be on carefully crafted unit design, The Orchard project will also include a private below-grade 2-car garage for each unit, as well as the potential for car-charging stations within each garage. A gracious lobby, staffed 24/7, will be situated on the Orchard Street facade and will flow into an inviting common living room overlooking the landscaped Lincoln Common commemorative garden. The ground level will also include a private fitness and weight room for exclusive resident use.
The Orchard will feature approximately 114,000SF of floor area and will top out at approximately 90’-0” above grade. The project broke ground in early 2019.
