Project description: Antunovich Associates collaborated with McCaffery in the construction of Verde Pointe - a 1.86 acre residential and mixed-use development located in Arlington, Virginia. The uniquely-designed facility has two distinct portions: On the west side, sit 42 residential units, a 14,000 SF supermarket, and a 242 space parking garage. The east side houses a 12-story contemporary tower that includes 162 apartments ranging from studios to two-bedroom units.

Common spaces play a central role in providing Verde Pointe residents a first-class experience. A penthouse level with spectacular views of the greater Washington D.C. area houses tenant amenity spaces, which include an outdoor pool, grilling facilities, a party room complete with a kitchen, a game area, a fitness facility, and secured wine storage. The lower level of this building also provides indoor bike storage along with other conveniences to encourage environmentally-friendly transportation. Verde Pointe has received certification as a LEED Gold building.
