Project description: Antunovich Associates completed several bookstores for Barnes & Noble Booksellers across America. These stores, known as "Superstores," generally contain between 25,000 and 40,000 square feet. Some are located within renovated retail facilities, some within newly built shopping centers, and some are stand-alone structures.

The bookstores contain large stack areas for bargain books, magazines, and regular publications. Separate areas are designed within the store including a children’s area, music section, and a software area. A generous cafe adorns each store. Casual seating is spread throughout creating a relaxed, informal environment. The stores are richly designed utilizing generous amounts of wood, marble tile, and extensive lighting.
