Hub Lexington Limestone

Location:Lexington, Kentucky
Client: CORE Spaces

Project description:

Hub Lexington Limestone is a 176 unit/581 bedroom student housing development, completed in 2020, located just steps away from the University of Kentucky. Limestone brings a contemporary modern design incorporating brick, corrugated metal, and wood-look aluminum to a major arterial intersection, announcing itself through use of a folded “feature frame” that also acts as a canopy on the roof terrace. A change in brick color, metal channeling, and the feature frame help to articulate the building and create a lively street level at both the residential entrance and retail spaces at the corner of Limestone and Virginia.
Consisting of 176 units, the mixed-use building includes six retail spaces on the ground floor, and world-class amenities including Lexington’s largest roof-top pool, study spaces, double-height lobby/lounge, and a club room with adjacent courtyards including grilling stations.
