The catalyst for the 525 Lafayette Street development is a six-story building that houses IBM Corporation offices. These program elements activate the street front and provide an architectural enclosure around a four-story parking structure. Crowning the garage is a 20,000 SF roof garden featuring a generous mix of vegetation and hardscape. Additional amenity spaces include a fitness area, a party room, and a pool terrace on the fourth floor overlooking the river. The architectural expression of the building draws heavily from the art deco vernacular of Baton Rouge while still expressing a modern presence.
