Antunovich Associates collaborated with Commercial Properties Realty Trust to design a new headquarters for the Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority Headquarters, an agency of the State of Louisiana focused on hurricane protection and other coastal environmental issues. The new headquarters is located at the heart of the Water Campus and is the first building of a new 30+ acre master-planned mixed-use neighborhood south of downtown Baton Rouge and north of Louisiana State University. The four-story, 52,000 square foot office building features a facade of clear and spandrel glass, divided by deep set metal panels. The interior continues the minimalist exterior composition, with sleek wood panels adding warmth to the lobbies and common spaces. The site features an enhanced streetscape design which will be continued throughout the Water Campus Master Plan, while onsite parking serves the building occupants.
